Toa Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (Bjj) is a grappling school in Mt Barker. We aim to have a diverse and welcoming atmosphere.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu focuses on grappling, using mechanical advantage to gain advantageous positions and joint locks and chokes to force an opponent to submit.
The head instructor has 7 years of experience in Bjj and 21 years experience in martial arts as a whole.

Programs & Class Schedule
Lessons start Feb 1st 2017
Tuesday 6:00-7:00 pm, 7:00-8:00 pm
Wednesday 6:00-7:00 pm, 7:00-8:00 pm (Gi)
Saturday 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Participants must be 15 years of age or older.
The first session (1 night) may be taken as a free trial and all are welcome to come and try.
No footwear on the mats.
Footwear must be worn in all other parts of the facility (thongs are ideal for getting on and off the mat).
A Rashguard and shorts is ideal for no gi. A t-shirt is enough. Not loose fitting is important for safety.
Gi is require for all Gi sessions (7:00-8:00 Wednesday)
Good hygiene is a must before you commence training. Please cover any open wounds and ensure old wounds won't reopen before you come to training.
