Sibpalki Australia is a small group of practitioners that are dedicated to preserving the Classical Korean Martial Art of Sibpalki. The martial art of Sibpalki is recorded in the military training manual the Muyedobotongji (1790) of the Joseon dynasty (Korea).
Sibpalki means 18 arts and incorporates many different weapon arts in addition to empty handed fighting.
Beginning students learn Gwonbeop (fist method - a form of kung fu), as well as the sword and the staff before moving on to more advanced weapons. The instructor (Mr Adams) is Australia's only Sibpalki black belt (Korean Sibpalki Association) having trained under several Korean Sibpalki masters in Korea and the Netherlands. He has over 29 years of martial arts experience and also holds a 5th Dan in Taekwondo and is a national referee, as well as a 4th Dan in Hapkido. Sibpalki Australia is Australia's ONLY Sibpalki school.
Sibpalki is a great way to improve your fitness, flexibility, co-ordination, as well as developing confidence in a safe and friendly environment with classes held in modern full-time facilities.
