Zen Do Kai is a martial art that is taught with an open mind and allows for the merger of traditional techniques and principles with modern trends and attitudes to provide self defence techniques that are relevant in today's society.
The Zen Do Kai syllabus includes standard Karate techniques (punches/kicks/strikes) and Kata (forms), but has been influenced over the years by Boxing, Kick Boxing and Muay Thai. The principles of locks and holds, throws, grappling and the use of traditional weaponry are also included in the curent Zen Do Kai syllabus.
